What is the Slack and how do I join it?

Slack is a group chat service that is very common among technical communities, despite being designed and targeted to team communication. Hack Manhattan’s Slack is at hackmanhattan.slack.com.

Our Slack is open to non-members, but currently you need to ask an administrator for an invitation to join the Slack. Click here to join the Slack or email us to request an invitation.

• #hackerspace: Focused on the physical hackerspace in its corporeal form, including asking whether someone is at the space or whether the space is open.
